Built around the garden
Serendib House was designed by a Colombo architect and built by local craftsmen, using white plaster walls, teak joinery and reclaimed terracotta throughout. The layout is deliberately simple: three suites arranged around a central courtyard and pool, so every room catches the sea breeze.
The villa sleeps up to eight guests and can be booked room-by-room or exclusively for the whole property — a favourite for family gatherings and small celebrations.

The Team
Villa manager, chef, housekeeper and gardener — all on-site and included in the nightly rate.

Infinity pool, yoga deck, tropical garden and direct beach access two minutes from the gate.

Daily breakfast, drinking water, Wi-Fi, beach towels, bicycles and a welcome drink on arrival.
Nothing on the schedule
Morning. Coffee on the veranda, breakfast served whenever you wake, and a swim before the heat settles in.
Afternoon. A short tuk-tuk ride to Ahangama town for lunch, or stay put with a book by the pool and fresh king coconut.
Evening. Sunset on the beach, then dinner prepared by the villa chef — Sri Lankan curries or something simpler, your call.
